PEAS was founded with a mission to expand access to quality secondary education for all children in Africa. As well as running schools, PEAS wishes its network to be an exemplar for achieving access, quality, and sustainability at scale, both through PPP models.
PEAS has expanded into Zambia in areas that are also currently underserved by the existing school system. In Zambia, PEAS schools are primarily located in rural areas with poor education provision. 2018 marked a transformational year for the country programme, as PEAS opened their first school in partnership with the Zambian government in Kasama.
Avonbrook has supported PEAS work in Zambia since the early days and now has made our largest ever grant to a partner to institute best teaching practice across PEAS’ network of Zambia schools.
